
Altinkum
Altinkum is a resort town situated on Turkey's Aegean coast about 60 miles north of Bodrum. The name actually means 'golden sand' and amongst the main attractions of the resort are the beaches which slope gently into the sea. The town also has many restaurants which cater for all tastes and is particularly known for its range of ultra friendly Turkish restaurants.
Other attractions include the ruins of the historic Apollon temple, the newly opened Marina, the Didim Water Park as well as numerous inland tours & boat trips to various locations including the nearby Greek Island of Samos.
